1992 Land Rover Defender 110 200 TDI
The Brief
The owner of this vehicle came to us via John Rigby & Co. after falling in love with The Rigby. He wanted us to create another Rigby for him, but just a little bit extra. The client lives in the US, but comes over for the British shooting season, and the car would remain here for that purpose.
The Solution
Having the original Rigby as inspiration was a great starting point. We added a dog cage and gullwing side hatches, and customised the drawer system to the client’s requirements; but the real magic is in the billet pack. We fabricated a complete billet pack for the car (satin black for the exterior and bare aluminium for the interior, which was then passed to the master engravers at John Rigby & Co. who embellished each piece to complement the client’s Rigby guns.
